IAB Safe Frame technology has been out for a few years now. It has not been highly adabtable as only a few publishers in australia have decided to take on the challenge.  

Although there is a huge risk to move to Safe Frames, rest assured if it is done right, it will be worth it...

 

Here is a few suggestions and tips to get your Safe frame implimentation right without loss of revenue from a technical operations perspective. 

I know there is 1,000's of articles around this already. Thought I would add my two cents worth and how each of us should be responding to the change.

So Google are releasing a new update to Google Chrome browser in the next couple months. The idea from Google was to put a stop to flash creative's in order to preserve the life of laptop batteries.

So the new chrome update is launching soon (Check out how to handle the change). Chrome has launched it to it's Beta channel. Not live yet. I am sure will be a few weeks away, so you still have time.

I wanted to share with you a couple options so you can test how your ad will render in the new upcoming release with your current browser. Version 45.

 

Option 1 - 

You can download the Beta version of Chrome from here. https://www.google.com.au/chrome/browser/beta.html

 

Option 2

If you are on the latest version of Chrome Version 45. 

in order to enable / disable this feature,

Go to Chrome Menu > Setting > Show advanced settings > Content Settings or shortcut link below: chrome://settings/content/
Then, Scroll down to "Plugins" (as per screen shot below)
